Craig Ramirez
Co-Founder & CEO Tezcat Biosciences
Dr. Ramirez is the Co-Founder and CEO of Tezcat Biosciences. Prior to founding Tezcat, Dr. Ramirez was a post-doctoral researcher in the Developmental Therapeutics lab at UT Austin Dell Medical School, under the leadership of Dr. Gail Eckhardt. Dr. Ramirez obtained his PhD in cancer metabolism at NYU School of Medicine under the leadership of Dr. Dafna Bar-Sagi, a world-renowned expert in Ras-driven cancers and the metabolic process underlying Tezcat’s technology. During this time in the lab, Dr. Ramirez uncovered novel therapeutic targets and mechanisms of action, several of which represent the backbone of Tezcat’s technology.

Leveraging Protein Scavenging in RAS Cancers to Enable Targeted Drug Delivery & Expand Therapeutic Possibilities Beyond Direct RAS Inhibition
11:00 am
- Highlighting a fundamental metabolic dependency in mutant RAS cancers by educating audiences on protein scavenging as a shared tumor vulnerability
- Demonstrating efficient tumor delivery and strong safety across multiple RAS-driven models using a protein drug-conjugate platform
- Expanding treatment possibilities by enabling combination and post-resistance strategies alongside next-generation RAS inhibitors
